Lobster & Yuletide
Nov. 17th, 2007 04:22 pmPot-caught Canadian lobster doesn’t make a bad breakfast at all. Or is it brunch or even lunch since I didn’t get up in time for breakfast anyway? Granted, I did make a bit of a mess of it but I’m no a chef after all; just a fellow who’ll occasionally cut a lobster in half to eat it. There’s an awful lot of roe and tomalley left but I’m not at all keen on that for breakfast or even for anything that doesn’t come ready-made with canapés.
And I suppose I ought to start considering transportation details now then if I’m going to head back to the UK for the holiday season. I’m a little suspicious of this demand that I spend Christmas Day in the Midlands though; since it smacks of Katherine proposing we cook our own Christmas dinner and spend the day sitting about drinking gin and listening to the Queen’s Speech.
